Who we are....
I consider myself a self-proclaimed foodie who wants to share the glorious food of my homeland with you.
Trinbagonian food is true melting pot of flavours, from the histories of many a different people that combined and influenced each other over centuries, to create the unique flavours that make up our rich and colourful foodscape. Indian influences from the Indentures, African influences from the Slaves, Creole from the French, Spanish, Portuguese who all ruled at some point in our history, Chinese from the early migrants to the new migrants. We are a tapestry of rich culture and tradition, that is fused into the flavours of our foods. The foods that we love cooking for you. Foods that are now authentically Trinidadian. We own, we t'ing.
Trinbagonians take immense pride in their food - in fact we are downright patriotic about it. Some may even say we bold. And rightly so - from nothing came plenty. We are proud of our heritage and ancestry. Our doors are always opened and we are always ready to "make a cook" for friends.
Cooking with authentic herbs and spices - just as you would find in any West Indian's kitchen, you are guaranteed an authentic foodie experience. We take great pride in bringing these flavours and fusions to you.
